About Me
Aloha nui! My name is Pono Kalipi and I am from the beautiful island of Moloka’i and now residing on the island of Keawe. I was first drawn into photography during my senior year at Kamehameha Schools Kapalama. I took film photography as an elective and had my work showcased in our school library. From there, I found interest in doing digital photography and what started as a fun hobby, turned into a passion and an art. In all, I have been a professional photographer for 6 years and as a lei maker, I find beauty in nature, thus my passion for taking portraits at different places around our Hawaiʻi. I know this not only highlights the location of the shoot, but you at this location and how it speaks and connects with you.
